Erika - 1st post from HKK's Bass player
12/19/11 - 11:00 pm
Hey there..My name is Erika, I am the new bass player for Hear Kitty Kitty, and I am pretty stoked about it..Our band Hear Kitty Kitty has decided to stay connected with our fans and we have chosen to write weekly blogs to answer any questions that our fans may have, but for now I can tell you a little about myself..I was born in Los Angeles, and I lived in Palm Springs until I was 5 years old..I then moved to the San Fernando Valley where I grew up singing, acting, and playing the piano. I now reside in Hollywood, (aka the "Twilight Zone") and I have been playing bass for a few years now... My dream is to tour while playing music, and I look forward to waking up in different cities. My best friend Kristin is a tour manager and I love my chats with her about the road.. Besides playing bass in Hear Kitty Kitty, I do casting for TV shows. When I am not playing the bass, I really dig going to live shows...Some of my favorite bands include Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, as well as the Black Keys.. If I'm not at a show, I like to shop, and do girly things, like you know the stuff that women do to look pretty. I also enjoy going working out, going to the lake and hanging out with friends..Most of my free time is spent thinking of ways for world domination..just kidding, anyhow until the next time..
We get by with a little help from our friends....

Making a band go requires a tremendous amount of work and support... HKK would like to thank our sponsors, photographers, and industry pros who are helping us make this crazy dream come true...
Brian Honda Photography - Brian has been photographing our live shows since the beginning... if you check out our photo page chances are that great live shot is courtesy of Brian Honda...

HKK only plays with Pick World's custom picks because they are the best around. They also offer custom jewelry and other rock and roll accessories... top quality and old fashioned personal service set PW apart from the crowd... check out their site
Coffin Case - you might think a case is just there to keep your organized and protect your gear and instruments... and of course Coffin Cases are as tough as they come... but Coffin takes it a step further by turning the case itself into a work of art... Coffin not only has cases to hold your guitar and bass, but also offers a wide variety of products for the entire band... check out their site
Jet City Amplification - HKK guitarist Jonny Kat plays Jet City... and with good reason. Jet City doesn't force the serious musician to compromise... they offer real old school build quality, amazing sound and durability, and they do it all while giving you the best value for your dollar in the industry. Check out their full product line on the Jet City Amplification website.
Cakewalk - HKK doesn't just write great songs and kick ass on stage... they are also constantly recording, mixing, engineering and experimenting with new material... and in today's digital world that means great software... and this is where Cakewalk shines. Cakewalk by Roland offers a wide array of software for PC and Mac that empowers artists with unlimited creative options, ease of use, and they do it all at a price that puts their competitors to shame... check out the full Cakewalk product line at their website.
I would also like to thank myself for building this website... it represents a dream come true for a simple man with no formal education who only weeks ago thought the internet was something used for fishing... I could not have done it without me.
Red Cross Benefit
5/27/11 - 9:30 pm
Hear Kitty Kitty recently played a benefit concert in Hermosa Beach to raise funds for the Red Cross to assist those in need of help after the recent tsunami and earthquake in Japan. Nikita organized and MCed the event, and HKK headlined the show. The Torrance branch of the Red Cross presented Nikita with a certificate for putting on the event and raising money for a very worthy cause. The Red Cross could certainly use your help as they deal with the recent tornados, Japan, and countless other responses.
